About Me

I come into this work like I do most other things in my life- with passion.
I have a BAH in Gender Studies. I thought I would be a lawyer, but similar to birth plans things change sometimes… And that is okay.
I came to this work in 2020, after giving birth to my daughter and realizing that there was a big gap in support for postpartum humans.
I’ve realized over the years that we have been misinformed, or not at all informed about our bodies and about birth.
My goals in supporting my clients are that they feel supported, informed and respected.
No matter where you are giving birth, where you first nurse (or bottle-feed) you are in choice and I support my clients in remembering this.
I am the mother to my three year old, Parker. I gave birth with the care of midwives who supported me; my boundaries, my body, my choices from pregnancy to postpartum. In the years since I have given birth I think of it often. There are things I would do differently, but every time I reflect on it, I remember it so fondly. The reason for this is that I remember how intentionally I chose my support team and how amazing it felt to be supported and respected every step of the way.
I would be honoured to be a part of your support system.
